  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 9 oven-ready lasagna noodles
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a large baking dish.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté diced chicken seasoned with salt, pepper, and garlic until cooked through (7-10 minutes).
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with beaten egg, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Start assembling by spreading marinara sauce at the bottom of the baking dish. Layer noodles, half of the ricotta mixture, sautéed chicken, mozzarella, and more marinara. Repeat layers until ingredients are used.
  5. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; then uncover and bake for another 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let it rest for at least 15 minutes before slicing.
