Instructions

  1. Rinse the scallops under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil until shimmering.
  4. Add butter and minced garlic to the pan; sauté until fragrant.
