Instructions

  1. Make the Dough: In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Gradually add ice water until dough forms.
  2. Chill the Dough: Shape into a disk, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Prepare Apples: Toss sliced apples with cinnamon and lemon juice in a bowl.
  4. Roll Out Dough: On a floured surface, roll chilled dough into a rough circle (about 12 inches).
  5. Assemble Galette: Place apples in the center, leaving a 2-inch border. Fold edges over apples.
