  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 lb thinly sliced ribeye or sirloin beef
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 cup sliced bell peppers (mixed colors)
  • 8 oz provolone cheese, sliced
  • 4 tbsp butter (for toasting buns)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter and add the sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté until soft.
  2. Add the thinly sliced beef to the skillet. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper; cook until browned (about 5 minutes).
  3. Layer the provolone cheese over the beef mixture. Cover the skillet with a lid for about 2 minutes to melt the cheese.
  4. Brush melted butter on the insides of each slider bun and toast them on a griddle or in an oven at 350°F until golden brown.
  5. Assemble sliders by placing a generous scoop of cheesy beef onto each bun base and topping with the bun lids.
  6. Place assembled sliders in a baking dish, brush with remaining melted butter, and bake at 350°F for about 10 minutes until heated through.
