  6. Fold in the chocolate chips gently.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about two inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are firm but centers are soft. Let cool on the baking sheet for five minutes before transferring to wire racks.
