  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese frosting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
  4. Gradually add wet ingredients to dry ingredients; mix until just combined.
  5. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon. Pour half the batter into the greased dish, sprinkle half the cinnamon mixture on top, then layer remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon mixture.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool for 10 minutes; poke holes in the top using a skewer or fork.
  8. Spread cream cheese frosting over the warm cake.
