  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup bell peppers (diced)
  • ½ cup onions (diced)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients: Dice vegetables and season shrimp with Cajun seasoning.
  2. Cook pasta: Boil salted water in a large pot, add fettuccine, and cook until al dente. Drain and reserve some pasta water.
  3. Sauté vegetables: In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and sauté bell peppers and onions for about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add shrimp: Toss in seasoned shrimp; cook until pink and opaque (about 3-5 minutes).
  5. Create sauce: Lower heat, stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until melted. Allow to simmer to thicken.
  6. Combine: Add cooked pasta to the skillet, mixing well with the sauce. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if necessary.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
