  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, ginger, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla.
  4. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
