  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or sausage. Drain excess fat and stir in garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  3. Mix in marinara sauce and simmer for about 5-7 minutes.
  4. In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese with half of the mozzarella cheese, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the spaghetti, followed by half of the meat sauce and dollops of the creamy mixture. Repeat layers finishing with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan on top.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
