Instructions

  3. In another bowl, cream together granulated sugar, brown sugar, and softened butter until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and mint extract until combined.
  5. Gradually mix in dry ingredients until just combined; fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden while centers remain slightly underbaked.
  8. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
