  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine canned pumpkin purée, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
  4. If desired, gently fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
