  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and coat a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté chopped onions until translucent (about 5 minutes).
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, cooking until browned (7-10 minutes). Drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in cream of mushroom soup, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  5. Pour the beef mixture into the prepared baking dish, layer with frozen tater tots, then sprinkle shredded cheddar on top.
